Bottom Layer
Red and Green Christmas Gelatin Salad begins by combining lime gelatin and crushed pineapple. Next, pour the mixture into a 3-quart rectangular baking dish or food storage container.
Center
Next, place rows of marshmallows over the green gelatin and refrigerate the mixture until gelatin is set.
Top Layer
The red (top) layer consists of a combination of cherry gelatin and cherry pie filling and is poured over the top of the marshmallows. Once again, place the salad back into the refrigerator until the cherry layer is set.

Serve
When ready to serve, cut Red and Green Christmas Gelatin Salad into squares and garnish each serving with a dollop of whipped topping.
This recipe yields approximately 24 servings so it is perfect for your holiday entertaining. NOTE: Only need 12 servings? Simply cut the recipe in half!
