Make Ahead Recipes
Personally, I’m a big fan of make-ahead recipes. Having the ability to create several dishes ahead of time, minimize my workload on the day of any party or event. This is the case with this amazing Holiday Cranberry Salad.
This recipe kicks off by blending sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice, setting the stage for a vibrant salad. Next, crushed pineapple, whole berry cranberry sauce, mini marshmallows, and pecans are added to the mixture, merging flavors and textures. After everything is well mixed, whipped topping is folded in and the mixture is transferred to a 9×13 baking dish.
The Holiday Cranberry Salad requires a freezing period of at least 4 hours, or overnight. Once the salad is frozen solid, it can be easily sectioned into squares.
