I love these Healthier White Chocolate Cranberry Blondies with orange zest. The cranberry, chocolate, and orange flavor make these perfect for winter, but honestly, I make them all year long.
These are naturally gluten-free. You can use any nut butter you like, I usually use peanut butter.
Technically, blondies are a dessert. Since these are made with nut butter and almond flour, they are healthier than normal blondies, so I eat them all the time: breakfast, snacks, and dessert!
White Chocolate Cranberry Blondies Ingredients
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- zest of one orange
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries
- 2/3 cup white chocolate chips
Icing Ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
White Chocolate Cranberry Blondies Directions
- Combine nut butter, maple syrup, egg, vanilla, almond flour, salt, baking soda, and orange zest in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
- Put into a greased 9×9 baking pan. Bake at 325° F for 20 minutes, let cool.
- Make the icing by beating together the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Add milk 1 tablespoon at a time. Mix until smooth.
- Spread or pipe icing on top of blondies. Top with extra cranberries and chocolate chips, if desired.
