This whipped hot chocolate is so good with homemade hot chocolate-whipped cream and lots of marshmallows.
For the actual hot chocolate part, I used heavy whipping cream and used a frother to whip it. Once it formed soft peaks, I added in two tablespoons of hot chocolate powder. Then I whipped it until it formed stiff peaks.

I came up with this recipe from the viral whipped coffee trend. I followed all the steps but instead of using instant coffee and sugar, I used a hot chocolate mix. For the topping, I used mini marshmallows, finely crushed dark chocolate, and chocolate syrup. This is a very chocolaty drink.
Whipped Hot Chocolate Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2-3 Tbsp hot chocolate mix
- 1-2 tbsp chocolate syrup
- A few mini marshmallows
- Finely chopped dark chocolate-However much your heart desires 😉
- 1 cup milk
Directions:
- Whip your heavy whipping cream using an electric mixer, hand-held mixer, or a frother, until soft peaks form
- Add 1 Tbsp of hot chocolate mix and stir. Add more hot chocolate if needed
- Continue whipping until stiff peaks form
- Drizzle chocolate syrup around the side of your cup or jar
- Fill your cup about 3/4 of the way full of milk
- Add your whipped cream to the top
- Add your marshmallows and chocolate syrup
- Enjoy!
