My family loves popcorn, and we make it all the time! This easy white chocolate peppermint popcorn does not last long in my house. It is perfect to make around the holidays, or any time of year if you are like us.

This recipe is gluten-free and dairy-free.
White Chocolate Peppermint Ingredients
- 1 heaping tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 8 ounces white almond bark
- 3 drops peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes or peppermint candies
Equipment needed
- Whirly Pop popcorn maker (or other homemade popcorn-making tool)
- Rolling pin (for crushing the candy)
- Parchment paper
Directions
- In the Whirly Pop, add the coconut oil and popcorn kernels. Turn on medium heat and stir until the kernels stop popping. Remove from heat.
- Pour the popped popcorn over parchment paper. Melt the almond bark in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Add the peppermint extract to the melted almond bark, and stir.
- Drizzle the melted almond bark evenly over the popcorn.
- While the almond bark is still hot, sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the popcorn and chocolate, and aim for the peppermint candies to land on the melted almond bark so it sticks to the popcorn.
- Allow to cool and harden. Enjoy!
