My family loves tilapia, so we eat it often. I couldn’t decide if I wanted garlic butter or Parmesan crusted tilapia, so I decided to make both by combining them into one recipe!

Garlic Butter Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Ingredients
- 4 Tilapia fillets
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed Rep pepper (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 °F and prepare a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a shallow bowl or dish combine the Parmesan cheese, oregano, paprika, parsley, thyme, and (optional) crushed red pepper. Then dredge the tilapia fillets through the Parmesan mixture. You will probably have to press the cheese on with your fingers. Transfer the fillets to a baking dish, and top with salt and pepper.
- Mix melted butter with garlic and lemon juice, then pour into the baking dish around the tilapia fillets.
- Bake the fish for 10-12 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked at 145 °F internal temperature.
- Serve over rice or risotto.
