A heart-shaped cookie cutter just might be your most used Valentine’s Day supply. Of course, it’s necessary for making cookies, but it can also be used for many other Valentine’s Day related projects.

Other Basic Supplies to Help You Conquer Valentine’s Day are food related items that are always good to have on hand for last-minute treats such as:

  • Red food coloring (any food dyed red instantly becomes a Valentine treat!)
  • Heart sprinkles
  • Candy Molds
  • Melting chocolate (for chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels, etc.)

When it comes to making things at home and being crafty, part of it is creativity and personality and the other part is simply having the right supplies.

Last year my mom made me a super cute Super Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Rag Wreath. I thought adding an arrow shooting through the heart would take it up a notch. To make my homemade arrow I literally went outside and found a stick, cut some triangles and feathers out of pink felt and hot glued them to the stick. It took just a few minutes and I didn’t have to go buy anything, but it looked like it cost a ton of money from a home decor store!

With a few basic supplies, you will be able to conquer your Valentine DIY list, whether craft, card, or decoration.
